How many years before the curse expires

Updated on September 28, 2012

How many years before the curse expires.

If not that the bible recorded that the inhabitants of the world are the offspring of three Noah's children ,who would have bothered about the curse he lay on his innocent grandson. At any rate , what one hears and reads everyday about some group could push one to ask when will the curse expire, if indeed there is any.

How many years before the curse expires

Sometimes it seems there is really a curse

Methuselah the grandfather of Noah had the singular honor of being the oldest man in the bible .He sired Lamech who produced Noah saying ,this one will comfort us concerning the ground which the lord has cursed .

In-consonant with his name ,Noah designed the first ship through an inspiration from God to save his family from the cursed ground .Since he was the only righteous man ,his family and some other plants and animals were saved from the heavy down-pour that pummeled the earth for forty- days .

After this downpour and the decay of plants and animals which added to the nutrients of the soil ,it became naturally more fertile .Then Noah planted his vine and it blossomed quickly to produce wine . Since a farmer must taste his products , he drank more than was good enough for him . This is where the problems started. He fell asleep in his birthday suit ,with his left -leg not knowing the position of his right leg .Considering that he was more than five hundred years old , his anatomy would be left only to the imagination.

This was the awkward position that his youngest son was unfortunate enough to meet him. He didn't know whether to laugh or cry . His father the great engineer lying naked was too much for him to handle and he scurried outside to inform his brothers, Shem and Japhet .They entered their father's house using the back and covered up the man without seeing the instrument that sired them .However ,when Noah woke from his drunken stupor , and heard the gossip about his youngest son's actions . He angrily reeled out a litany.of curses to his innocent grandson, Canaan who was Ham's son . Some of the curses against the young man include that he will be the servant of servants . This curse stuck on the guy like a second skin because Noah was a revered prophet of his time whose words was law

A curse by a man who lived thousand of years ago wouldn't have been an issue .However , since the bible recorded that from the three son's of Noah ,the whole world multiplied . Also Looking at certain happenings in history concerning some group of people ,sometimes one doesn't have to believe completely in the bible to infer that something is wrong . Makes one wonder if the curse is active. At any rate ,whoever are the offspring of Canaan , if any ,i ask ,when will the curse expire.
